A native of Gales ferry, Connecticut, Heather Tamer Rowley has been teaching Jazzercise for a combined total of 11 years.
Heather was certified in 2001 and moved to Texas in 2008 where she continued to teach until 2011. She then switched her focus to building and running two wedding venues in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Heather and her husband Chris decided to move back to Gales Ferry in December 2023 to be closer to their parents. Her friends convinced her to get re-certified as a low impact Jazzercise instructor and she began teaching Jazzercise in Gales Ferry in January 2024.
Heather has three grown children and two grandchildren. Besides Jazzercise, she also loves to play tennis, pickle ball, and platform tennis.
